I’ve been in the arts since I was a small kid starting in my grandmothers studio where I studied a number of different mediums. I earned my filmmaking degree in 2009 from the Art Institute of Portland, but began making short and feature length films at a very young age. Additionally, my father started me out in photography as a young child and it’s been my go to for starting conversations and more importantly, my primary creative outlet. Since then I’ve been fully immersed in commercial and documentary story telling in both motion and stills.
I worked in the agency world early on and once I realized I could work from anywhere, I packed up and hit the road. I have lived and worked as a nomad for well over a decade and now with my own little family. During the years out here I’ve worked with the worlds top brands shooting various campaigns diving deep in remote locations in search of myself and a unique angle of the world. I’m addictied to the unknown and the beauty that lies there. These are the moments that I strive to capture and share. All said and done, I’m a craftsman that is passionate about quality and purpose.
